About Us

Feering Parish Council looks after the playing field and children’s play equipment, street lighting, footpaths, bus shelters, maintains the grass verges around the village and is given the opportunity to comment on local planning applications and other issues that may affect our community.

The Parish Council Office is situated inside Feering Community Centre on Coggeshall Road and the Clerk is available to members of the public on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10am until 12 noon.  Parish Council Meetings are generally held on the evening of the third Tuesday of each month apart from August.

Council members sit on several Sub-Committees and Working Parties and represent the Parish Council on various outside bodies.

Feering Community Information Point is also situated within the Parish Council Office and has the same opening hours.  The CIP was opened in 2002 with the help of Essex County Council, its aim being to bring information and advice to villagers on services provided by various levels of Council, Central Government and other public bodies and organisations.

Feering Community Association is a charity set up to run Feering Community Centre on behalf of the Parish Council.  The Community Centre has several attractive function rooms for hire and a modern fully-equipped kitchen.  If you would like more information on Feering Community Centre or would like to book a room, please PRESS HERE
